people that i work with on the job think i'm such a nice person.
i guess we all try to show to others our good side.
in public i try as best i can to conduct myself in a better than civilised form and fashion.
Although being nice is probably preferable to being a real a_ _ hole, would you rather that the person your having dealings with just let you know up front, " Hey, I'm a _ _ _ khead and you should steer clear of me and anyone like me?
Only if you're a serial killer or a control freak, Proph, and I don't think you're either of those. That sets you as average on the scale of things. Everyone has their postures.

over the last year, i've been exploring the use of herbs and supplements...hey, i'm gettin' old, and i need all the help i can get!
lol.
so, here's what i've tried (in addition to general vitamin supplements like b, c, and some other selected minerals):.
Craig, I take 3 Lecithin caps a day to clean the cholesterol from my arteries and keep 'em clean.
I also take 4 cinnamon caps if I feel a cold or flu symptoms coming on. The cinnamon kills it.
I use E oil for clearing up fungal infections, especially on nail beds. It works. I've used it on my patients and as the nail bed grows out, the E oil is applied daily and the new nail growing in is healthy.
When I had Candida, I used Planetary Formulas, Candida Digest for a couple of months and it cleared it up completely.
Other than these things, I only take potassium and folic acid to keep my energy up when it's lagging, Excedrin for headaches and Benadryl for allergies. They all work pretty good for me.

i don't think i am an apostate, but do feel like one for being on these boards as we were always warned not to at the meetings etc.. i disagree with so many things they teach, the main thing is the blood issue....being a new auntie, i love my niece soooo much and if i were the only person that could save her, how on earth could i not?

i needed to reboot so i did a normal shutdown.
no big deal.. it shutdown and started to come back up but never got past the post.
so i rebooted again and got the same thing... i opened it up to see what was going on and noticed there was a lot of dust collected on the cpu cooling fan and fins.
Else, your Mini Cooper has been hit 2X and your computer has blown up. That makes 3 in the bad luck category...unless the computer blowing up is just a result of....um....never mind. Anyway, I hope that's the last of your downhill slide and you make a great comeback!

Oh, yeah. Used to have it more often when I was younger. I think it's sort of a "limbo" state before REM sets in. I think perhaps something puts our body on alert and the fear we subconsciously feel paralyzes us and until we can become fully conscious, our body is "weighted" down.

I've seen it work. While magnets are an example of opposites being attracted to each other, I've seen positive attitudes attract positive results, more than a few times.
I also read somewhere that birds' songs in the springtime, which are much more joyful and exuberant than in other seasons, is what triggers growth in nature. And haven't we all heard at one time or other that playing music (hopefully not D&D type music) for plants causes them to flourish?

i was thinking about this last night and after reading the previous topic about the gb believing or not it has me thinking again.
i am continually amazed at how a "new" religion can cause ones to abandon all previous beliefs and they are never questioned again.
i am third generation.
Not necessarily only sociopaths and narcissists are attracted to the WTS religion. Coming in from the outside are people who either haven't had much religious training, or people who are at a vulnerable time in their lives and are searching for somewhere over the rainbow. The initial love-bombing makes them feel special. This happened to me, as well. It's only after one is indoctrinated into the WTS teachings and practices that the rug is pulled out from under one's feet and the reality of the Steppfordian expectations of the WTS hits home.
